Wooden Shutters

Our Wooden Shutter collection provides the timeless beauty and enduring craftsmanship of real timber, custom-made for your home. These shutters are a beautiful combination of functionality, durability, and practicality. They are more than just a basic window covering; providing light & heat control, whilst adding style and value to your home. Each shutter is custom-made to your window or door’s exact specifications and is available in a wide variety of colours and stains.

Our timber range also offers you further design flexibility by adding a variety of shapes like circular, triangle, and half circles - practically any shape you can think of up to a 5-year limited warranty (supplier-dependent). One of our suppliers imports the shutters and therefore there will be a waiting period of 6 - 8 weeks. However, we also have a local manufacturer and a waiting period of 20 - 23 working days will apply (excluding weekends and public holidays).

850mm (product/supplier dependent).

Max Panel Drop:

2900mm (product/supplier dependent).

Privacy:

Not possible to see through closed shutters.

Light Control:

Light can be controlled via the tilting of the louvres.

Operation:

Option between Front Tilt or Hidden Rear Tilt Operating System. The Front Tilt bar can be fitted on the centre of a panel. A ring pull can also be added (supplier-dependent) to open and close panels.

Available Colors:

Java, Mahogany, Walnut, Honey, Beech, Black, Anthracite, Taupe, Cream, Grey, White and many more (supplier/product dependent).

Security Shutter:

Wooden Shutters are not Security Shutters, but Window Fashion only.

Cleaning:

Dust frequently and wipe with a damp cloth. Add a mild solution of dishwashing liquid if needed (no chemical solutions, chlorine bleach, lemon juice, or abrasive agents).
External and stained shutters should be oiled on a 6 - 6-monthly basis with a UV-protected oil/wax. We suggest Woodoc weatherproof wax (blue bottle).

Suitable For:

All windows and doors. Can be installed inside and outside the house (supplier-dependent).

Motorization:

Not Applicable.

Louvre Size & Config:

Available in 3 x louvre sizes (63mm, 89mm, 114mm) and 3 x styles (hinged, bi-fold & bi-pass). Shutters need to be measured extremely accurately, as modifications afterwards are very limited and expensive.
