Luxaflex Classic Shutters

Luxaflex® Classic Shutters are stylish & practical for every home. With the PolySatin™ finish the shutters have a look of painted wood, but with less maintenance than the traditional wooden shutters. These shutters are energy efficient, and insulating and provide excellent UV protection as well as a warranty against fading, cracking, chip, peel or warping. Other advantages are that the shutters are fire retardant as well as microbial & fungal resistant. Luxaflex® Classic Shutters have a 20-year limited warranty and as the shutters are locally manufactured, the waiting period will be 10-23 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Privacy:

The Classic Shutter will provide full privacy when louvres are tilted in the closed position.

Light Control:

Light can be controlled via the tilting of the louvres.

Operation:

Option between Front Tilt or Hidden Rear Tilt Operating System. The Front Tilt bar can be fitted on the centre of a panel or on the side.

The Classic Shutter is not a Security Shutter, but Window Fashion only.

Cleaning:

Easily cleaned with soap and water (no chlorine bleach, lemon juice or abrasive agents). Permanent markers can even be cleaned using a rubber.

Suitable For:

All windows and doors. Waterproof surface perfect for kitchens and bathrooms- even inside a shower.

Not Applicable.

Louvre Size & Config:

Available in 3 x styles (hinged, bi-fold & bypass) and 3 x louvre sizes (63mm, 89mm & 114mm). Various frame options are also available for the hinged systems. Shutters need to be measured extremely accurately, as modifications afterwards are very limited and expensive. Handgrip or plain divider rails must be inserted for panels where the height exceeds 1524mm.
