Cleaning:

Soil stains from dirt, ash, dust etc. can be regularly cleaned with a dry vacuum to keep the colour of the carpet. Liquid stains like red wine, which can change the pigment of the carpet can be cleaned with either a bleach or acetone solution (follow the manufacturer’s directions for cleaning). Afterwards, a dry vacuum can be used over the wet carpet to restore the pile of the carpet.

Insulation:

Carpets have the advantage of offering warmth in the colder months and keeping spaces cooler in the warmer months. They can reduce sound absorption and improve the quality of sound in a space.
