Sliding Panel Blinds

The Sliding Panel System is an elegant and bold shading solution for larger windows and patio doors and may be used as a room divider. The blind encompasses large panels of fabric or bamboo which stack neatly behind one another when open, allowing maximum light while radiating maximum style. To control light, reduce glare, increase privacy and make a décor statement simply slide the panels to the required position. Different combinations of fabrics on panels are possible. Please remember Sliding Panel blinds will always have “dead” space where the panels stack.

Light Control:

Blockout – Fabric blocks out light completely. Hundred per cent block-out can only be achieved by using side- and bottom channels with a cassette at the top.
Translucent – Fabric gives privacy at night but does filter through light during the day but does not allow a clear view of the outside.
Screens or Sheer – These fabrics filter and diffuse light while reducing glare and solar heat gain. Allows view to the outside during daytime but does not provide privacy at night when lights are on inside. Screen fabrics have a PVC composition and Sheer fabrics are made of softer fabrics.

Cleaning:

Cleaning depends on the fabric. Cleaning varies from wiping using a soft cloth to using a soft brush or damp cloth.

Suitable For:

Bigger windows and sliding doors.

Avoid:

Narrow and small windows.
