Roman Blinds

Available in a stunning range of blockout and light-filtering fabrics the Roman Blind provides another exciting option for decorating your space.

Roman blinds will have a stacking height at the top of about 200mm. To lessen the stacking height in the window opening, one can consider fixing the blind face-fix.

Light Control:

Blockout – Fabric blocks out light completely.
Translucent – Fabric gives privacy at night but does filter through light during the day but does not allow a clear view of the outside.
Screens or Sheer – These fabrics filter and diffuse light while reducing glare and solar heat gain. Allows view to the outside during daytime but does not provide privacy at night when lights are on inside. Screen fabrics have a PVC composition and Sheer romans are made of softer fabrics.

Operation:

Chain operated (Stainless Steel or Nylon) / Motorized or Dummy romans.

Hardware Colors:

White or Black.

Headrail Finish:

Standard as per supplier.

Cleaning:

Cleaning depends on the fabric. Cleaning varies from wiping using a soft cloth to using a soft brush or damp cloth.

All windows.

Avoid:

Narrow windows where the width-to-height ratio is smaller than 1:3
