Composition:

Most Rugs are made of Polypropylene, specifically those used in high traffic areas and outdoor spaces as they are easier to clean. Otherwise they can also be made of a blend of polyester, cotton, viscose, wool, and other materials

Cleaning:

Similar cleaning to carpets. Rugs must be vacuumed regularly to remove dust, dirt etc. Outdoor rugs can be hosed down with water and use only mild detergents on both indoor and outdoor rugs. No harsh chemical, acid or alkaline detergents o be used to clean rugs as they can change the integrity of the rug.
