With all the frustrations on the roads caused by load shedding and traffic lights not working, we thought we needed to bring some joy back to getting home. We are going to give you a SPECIAL opportunity to motorise your existing blinds OR buy new blinds with motors.

There are many reasons to motorise your indoor- and outdoor blinds. One of these benefits is that there is less strain on the mechanisms, as motorisation is very smooth compared to manual operation.

Ease of use - Press a single button to have all the blinds in a room go up at once, vs having to walk to each one, stretch over the couches and strain yourself, and operate each one individually. You will be able to sit down, relax, have a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and see something move and work in this dear country of ours.

What is the difference between the wire free and 220v motors?

Wire Free motors will have to be charged with a small charger (similar to a cell phone charger) once every 6-10 months for about 4-5 hours each. They will be no visible cording or extra electricity points required – easy installation. They will work during load shedding.

220V motors require an electricity point and depending on where the power point is might require trunking, or cabling. If you have a generator or solar panels, they will always work and will not require any charging ever. 220V can sometimes be coupled, so you can operate 2 blinds with one motor (if connected next to each other). They can also handle blinds larger than 9m².
